2008 Season: In his third season with the Lizards, he played in 11 games. He would set his career high with 48 groundballs on the season.

2007 Season: Orsen had a great year leading the Lizards with 45 ground balls. Orsen was a leader of one of the top defensive midfield lines in the league, and is one of the leagues top face-off wingmen. Orsen, who played long pole in college shows his versatility by playing close Defense when needed on man down situations.

2006 Season: Acquired by the Lizards in the Collegiate Draft, John Orsen brought his experience and tenacity as a defensive midfielder. The former Hofstra player netted 2 goals in his first season with the Lizards.

At Hofstra: He was awarded an STX/USILA All-American Team honorable mention.
